The neutering procedure explained
Neutering (also called de-sexing) is a surgical procedure performed under general anaesthesia. Female pets are ‘spayed’ and have their ovaries and uterus removed. Male pets are castrated and have their testicles removed.
At Rowan Vets, our highly skilled Vets and Nurses will take excellent care of your pet when they come in for their neutering procedure. We have a well-equipped operating theatre and separate recovery rooms for cats and dogs. Your pet will be monitored closely throughout the procedure, and will receive lots of love and attention from our team.
Book in for a FREE OF CHARGE pre-neutering consultation. The vet will give your pet a full health check to make sure they are fit for surgery, provide you with a quote and offer the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.
