On-site veterinary laboratory
The on-site veterinary laboratory facilities available at Rowan Vets help our team to diagnose a range of pet health conditions quickly.
We have biochemistry and haematology machines for the testing of blood and body tissues, that measure levels of enzymes and other substances in the body for a fast and accurate diagnosis.
With the facilities to provide same-day test results on-site, our Vets can pinpoint a variety of health problems quickly without needing more invasive diagnostic methods. This also enables treatment to begin right away, which is especially crucial for pets experiencing a veterinary emergency.
Specialised tests
If one of our patients requires more specialised tests, we send samples to a trusted external laboratory via a bespoke overnight courier service. We can get the results back quickly, often the very next day. Our Vets will then contact you to discuss your pet’s results and make a plan for the next steps in their treatment.
