Making New Year’s resolutions goes way back, some 4,000 years. The premise behind them has pretty much stayed the same; looking back over the previous year and ahead to the future, reflecting and resolving to make changes for the better.
Us #humans and our #pets are more similar than we think when it comes to making changes for the benefit of our health. It can be easier with a #teammate on board! So why not make those changes #together?
Our #rowanrecommends awareness campaign is designed to share information with you to help you make informed choices for your pet to keep them in tip-top shape. Prevention is better than cure! Taking a proactive approach towards your pet’s health provides you with some control and predictability and is usually MUCH cheaper than treating a preventable disease.
Our 1st #recommendation is to #vaccinate your pet. Vaccinations are a #trending topic these days, what with COVID 19 and the #flu season! Our pets are protected by vaccination in the same way against some pretty nasty diseases that can affect our CATS and DOGS.
We also #recommend protecting your pet against parasites that live in our environment as well as in our homes such as FLEAS and WORMS.
Our 2nd #recommendation is to join our Pet Health Club. Joining the club means you can pay for your vaccination and parasite protection for the year in 12 equal monthly instalments. It’s a great way to budget AND you will save money on the total cost of the products by being on the plan! You will also have access to a digital, 24/7 vet advice service called Vidivet that you can access on your mobile device, saving you time, money AND stress!
Our 3rd #recommendation is to insure your pet. Having a #pethealth insurance policy gives you the comfort and security of knowing that, for the unpredictable aspect of your pet’s health care such as accident or illness, you will have a pot of funds available to pay for any treatment your pet might need. Insurance can be confusing for owners and although we can’t recommend a specific provider or policy we can share information that highlights the key points to consider when taking out an insurance policy.
Our 4th and final #recommendation is to take advantage of the many complimentary clinics we offer that are run by our knowledgeable #RVN’s. We have weight clinics, senior cat clinics, pre-neutering advice clinics to name a few. These clinics are designed to support you in providing the best health care for your pet.
