Poison Prevention – How to protect your pet

Keeping an eye on your pet all of the time is SO difficult!  They are #cheeky and #sneaky and when they want something very badly they can get up to all kinds of #mischief!  With #nationalpoisonprevention week coming up next week, we thought it would be a great opportunity to share some useful information with pet owners to raise awareness of some of these poison risks.

Our pets are known to ingest just about anything.  With a recent spate of patients here at Rowan Vets who have snacked on things they shouldn’t have, we thought we’d start with some general tips on how to keep your home as safe as possible to reduce the risk.

Take a look at the Animal Poison Line leaflet HERE and check back in with us on 23rd and 25th March for some more specific information about cats and dogs.

If you have concerns about the health of your pet, contact the team on PetsApp or by calling
